GOVERNANCE

     The Towers of Jacksonville, Inc. is governed by a fifteen-person board of directors who serve staggered three-year terms, one-third of which terminate each year. Board members are volunteers who receive no remuneration.

     Board members serve on one or more of five standing committees: Executive, Finance, Audit, Governance, and Resident Welfare.

     The Board of Directors elects its own officers each year. The offices are president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.

     The Board meets four times each year (February, May, August, and November).
